In the afternoon of March 27, 2026, the Technology Innovation Strategic Cooperation Signing and Licensing Ceremony between the Academy of Life Sciences, Qingdao Agricultural University and Qingdao BNP BioScience Co., Ltd. was successfully held in the college conference room.
Sun Jingfu, the Party Committee Secretary of the academy, Yang Song, the dean of academy, along with Professor Yang Jianming, Professor Liang Bo, Associate Professor Li Meijie, and Lecturer Xu Linghua from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology attended the ceremony. General Manager Wang Gengshen, Deputy General Manager Zhong Bin, and Quality R&D Manager Wang Peng from Qingdao BNP BioScience Co., Ltd participated the event. The ceremony was presided over by Dean Yang Song.

Focusing on core areas such as natural product biosynthesis and functional product development, the collaboration will cover scientific research and technological breakthroughs, joint postgraduate training, undergraduate practice teaching, collaborative applications for research projects and science and technology awards, joint construction of research platforms, and cultivation of enterprise R&D talents. The goal is to establish a long-term collaborative innovation mechanism and accelerate the translation of research outcomes into practical applications.
Wang Gengshen, General Manager of Qingdao BNP BioScience Co., Ltd., detailed the company’s development history, core business landscape, and five year strategic plan in his speech. He expressed strong anticipation for the university enterprise partnership, hoping to use this opportunity to deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research, jointly drive innovation breakthroughs in the biotechnology field, and achieve a win win situation for both the academy’s educational excellence and the company’s innovative growth.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dean Yang Song presented the licensing plaque to Qingdao BNP BioScience Co., Ltd., which was received by General Manager Wang Gengshen. This licensing marks the formal establishment of a long term, stable strategic partnership between the two sides, laying a solid foundation for comprehensive, in depth, and broad based university-enterprise collaborative innovation in the future.
